Eaton has a rich and unique history
What started in a beautiful stone mansion more than 80 years ago has evolved into a modern, warm, welcoming facility, full of professionals who are committed to promoting the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Through all of our growth and evolution, we have kept our eye on quality, compassion and service.
Compassion from our community
Largely driven by the charitable support of the local community, we have continued to make progress in healthcare quality – most notably with the completion of Imagine HGB in 2005, then AL!VE in 2011-2012, Eaton Area Orthopedics in 2017, One Team Family Health in 2017, and affiliation with UM Health-Sparrow Health System in 2019. We stand poised as a place where Eaton County residents can confidently receive excellent care from high-caliber physicians and caregivers with a wide range of capabilities and extensive relationships.
For our extraordinary nurses
The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary compassionate and skillful care given by nurses every day. UM Health-Sparrow Health System is proud to be a DAISY Award Partner that recognizes one of our nurses with this special honor every month. Patients, Visitors, Nurses, Physicians, and Caregivers may nominate a deserving Nurse.
