Cardiac Rehabilitation

Our goal is to help sustain your heart health

Our Cardiac Rehabilitation staff works with you and your physician to develop an individualized plan of care that includes exercise, education and counseling to assist in your heart healthcare. With a comprehensive, collaborative approach, our team is here to help provide you with exercise options and education.

Our facilities allow you to exercise safely, strengthen your muscles and get your energy back. With education and counseling available so you can understand your heart condition and find ways to change unhealthy habits to new, healthy ones.

Why participate in cardiac rehabilitation

Cardiac rehab can help many conditions including those who have recently had bypass surgery, an angioplasty or stent placement, a heart attack, heart transplant, coronary artery (heart) disease or stable angina. From improving activity tolerance and exercise capacity to reducing stress associated with new conditions or life in general, patients can feel better faster and live longer. Speak with your physician and cardiologist about getting a referral to UM Health-Sparrow Cardiac Rehab.
