With the Michigan Medicine partnership, UM Health-Sparrow is now connected with the nationally ranked Michigan Medicine C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, with a deliberate focus on keeping patient care close to home for families in the Mid-Michigan region. The relationship is designed to strengthen existing clinical services and create additional pediatric specialty service availability within the communities that UM Health-Sparrow serves.
With more than 40,000 visits annually, it is clear that families throughout Mid-Michigan turn to us to care for their ill or injured children. Our collaboration will significantly enhance the patient experience and lead to more coordinated care for pediatric patients from around the region. Pediatricians, pediatric hospitalists, and pediatric residents provide around-the-clock coverage, supported by a nursing staff specially trained to care for children. Our goal is to alleviate one burden from your mind by providing best-in-class care for medical and surgical patients from newborn to age 18 who do not require the constant monitoring of an intensive care unit.
