About Me
Daniel Chapman, M.D., M.P.H. joined the Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center team in 2024. He completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University, receiving a B.S. in Physiology in 2014. He then went on to medical school at Central Michigan University while simultaneously completing a Masters in Public Health degree at Michigan State University. Following medical school, Dr. Chapman completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Chapman's professional interests include MRI-guided radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, and the continued effort to further improve patient experience while undergoing cancer treatment. However, his favorite part of the profession is the ability to spend time interacting with his patients and their loved ones. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys attending local collegiate and professional sporting events along with spending quality time with his family. As a Lansing area native, he was very motivated to come home to work at the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, given his significant and deep ties to the area.
