Carson City, Mich. – University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Carson celebrated National Nurses Week by honoring several of its highly skilled nurses with DAISY Awards.
The UM Health-Sparrow Carson Infusion Center was presented with the DAISY Team Award for their professionalism, respect and compassion and always going above and beyond expectations. Team DAISY Awards are designed to honor collaboration of a group, led by a nurse, who meet patients and family needs beyond the traditional role of nursing.
“Their ability to ease fears and anxiety at stressful times through education and positive thinking, hope and a gentle hand is amazing,” said chief nursing officer Mariah Hesse, BSN, R.N., CENP.
