Lucas Wright knows computer problems can be frustrating, particularly when they can affect Patient care.
Wright, a Sparrow Information Technology (IT) Field Service Technician, prides himself on staying calm and fixing computer, printer and equipment issues fast.
He was nominated for Sparrow’s Caregiver Spotlight, honoring those who go above and beyond in providing extraordinary care, making sure the needs of the Patient always come first.
“The Caregiver needs to serve Patients as best they can. I want them to focus on the Patient and not a computer,” said Wright. “I know if I had an issue impacting my work, I’d want it taken care of as soon as possible.”
Wright completed more than 2,500 field service assignments last year, the most in the IT Field Service Department.
“It wasn’t just me. It was IT as a whole,” he said. “I wouldn’t have been able to do my job without my team’s support.”
