Three community leaders join Sparrow Foundation Board

Three community leaders, Price Dobernick, of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 333, Gary Hubbard, DDS, and Ryan Vartoogian of Spartan Internet Consulting, have been named to the Sparrow Foundation Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors governs the Sparrow Foundation setting policies and directing activities of the organization. The Foundation Board oversees and maintains the ongoing fundraising programs that benefit Sparrow.

Dobernick, of St. Johns, serves as Assistant Business Manager for Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 333 and is a member of the Lansing Community College Foundation, Capital Area United Way and Lansing Labor Council.

Hubbard, of Okemos, is a native of the central Michigan area, and began his private practice in Lansing in 1980. He's also an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Vartoogian, of Haslett, is president of Spartan Internet Consulting which he started as a sophomore at Michigan State University. In 2008, he was named MSU's Distinguished Young Alumni of The Year.
