Preceptor of the Year Catherine Brennan, MS, RN
The annual State of Nursing celebration focused on the ever-changing and evolving roles of Sparrow Nurses. This year’s theme was, “Charting the course – the future of Nursing.”
The hall was decorated in a nautical theme to symbolize the path forward for transforming care to improve the health of the people in our region.
The event also contains a year in review segment, focuses on goals for the future, and honors individual Nurses for his or her accomplishments. This year’s Preceptor of the Year went to Catherine Brennan, MS, RN. The St. Lawrence Emergency Department was honored with the Nursing Innovation Award and 5W Medical Oncology was honored with the Nursing Excellence Award.
