LANSING, Mich. - Sparrow's Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute (TCI) has received a nationally recognized accreditation for its Vascular Laboratory Services.
The three-year accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) comes after a thorough examination of TCI's Vascular Lab, its technicians and its physicians, in addition to the review of case studies.
The accreditation assures Patients and physicians that the TCI Vascular Laboratory is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of Patient care.
"We are proud to have received this accreditation, which is an indication of Sparrow's commitment to evidence-based best practices and quality improvements," said Dale Leffler, DO, Medical Director, Vascular Laboratory Services at TCI.
The ICAVL has been accrediting vascular laboratories nationwide for more than 20 years.
