Sparrow Caregivers and Michigan State University nursing students celebrated the kickoff of this semester's Dedicated Education Unit today.
The program teams up MSU nursing students with our Sparrow BSN Nurses on 4 Foster, giving students the opportunity to learn how to provide compassionate clinical care in real time.
The Dedicated Education Unit is a national model to promote team building, leadership, and improved educational and Patient care outcomes. The program was planned by a joint team of Sparrow nurses and MSU College of Nursing faculty, and began in 2012.
