LANSING, MI – After being held virtually last year, one of Mid-Michigan’s biggest social events, the Sparrow Gala, is back in-person and will be held Saturday, Feb. 26.
The Gala doesn’t have the same old look, though. Traditional favorites will combine with new elements of fun at High Caliber Karting and Entertainment at the Meridian Mall in Meridian Township.
Guests can still enjoy great food, desserts, music, dancing, and a silent auction, but there’ll also be ax throwing, go-karts, and more.
Presented by Auto-Owners Insurance, Gala 2022 will benefit the new Sparrow Emergency Center Okemos, which will bring a comprehensive critical emergency and primary care facility to Meridian Township and surrounding communities.
High Caliber Karting and Entertainment, 1982 W. Grand River, at the old Men’ & Children’s Younkers, was selected for this big event in part because it allows the Gala to be held safely, minimizing the spread of illnesses. With more than 100,000 square feet of space for guests to explore, over 20-foot ceilings, and a new air-handling system, High Caliber is ready to welcome everyone.
