LANSING, MI – Sparrow Eaton Hospital President Helen Johnson has been selected to join a lineup of six female regional leaders speaking at the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Executive Welcome on Sept. 8.
Johnson joins others who are started their positions during the pandemic and is part of a news series exclusively focused on women.
Johnson, who joined Sparrow Eaton on Jan. 1, 2021, has become a standout local leader in a short time and has been highlighting the excellent patient care delivered at Sparrow Eaton and throughout Sparrow Health System.
Johnson has been a fixture at Charlotte-area community events, volunteers at the Helping Hands Food pantry, and supports local philanthropy by way of Women Giving Together. She has also written a weekly column for the community newspaper called Wellness Warble that focuses on issues of overall wellness for the region.
In addition, she is involved in the Michigan Health and Hospital Association (now chairing the MHA Small & Rural Council, which identifies issues unique to small or rural providers), serves as vice president of the Great Lakes American College of Healthcare Executives (GLACHE) and is a member of the Charlotte Rotary Club and General Federation of Women’s Clubs Charlotte.
