Sparrow Community Hospitals are pleased to announce a scholarship program for area students.
Sparrow Carson, Sparrow Clinton, Sparrow Eaton and Sparrow Ionia Hospitals are offering scholarship opportunities to local high school graduating seniors who intend to pursue higher education in a health-related field.
To be eligible for the $1,000 scholarships, candidates must be a resident of Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Ionia or Montcalm counties and submit a copy of their most recent completed school semester transcript. The deadline to submit a scholarship application is Friday, March 29, 2024.
The funds for these scholarships have been generously donated by benefactors of Sparrow, including the Merten and Geraldine Whyman Health Careers Scholarship Endowment Fund for Clinton County residents. Scholarships are awarded annually.
