ST. JOHNS, MI – Registered Nurse Gretchen Priess joined Sparrow Clinton Hospital during Ronald Reagan’s first administration and now she’s been honored for four decades of compassionate care.
Gretchen Priess, BSN, RN, CMSRN, was recently recognized at the annual Nurses Tea celebrating National Nurses Week.
Priess, who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Northern Michigan University, considers becoming a nurse one of her greatest accomplishments. “I was drawn to nursing by my desire to care for, serve, and help other people.”
Priess credits her fellow caregivers and the work climate at Sparrow Clinton for supporting and holding her interest in nursing through the years.
