Sparrow Bariatric & Weight Management Services has achieved comprehensive accreditation from the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
This honor means that Sparrow meets the MBSAQIP's stringent standards for high quality, Patient-centered metabolic and bariatric care.
"We are proud to have achieved this national recognition and we continue to provide high quality care for our neighbors here in mid-Michigan," said Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery Mindy Lane, D.O. "Our team is dedicated to giving our Patients the tools they need to control their weight once and for all."

About the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program
The American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and the Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) combined their respective national bariatric surgery accreditation programs into a single unified program to achieve one national accreditation standard for bariatric surgery centers, the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
