Sparrow Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU) Nurses recently participated in and completed their 2015 skills fair, which is made up of stations with activities they are evaluated on yearly.
The event featured nearly 20 stations where Nurses practiced skills like getting babies out of an isolette for skin-to-skin contact with their mothers, CPR and codes.
There was even a photo booth for the Nurses to have some fun.
Sparrow’s RNICU at the Sparrow Children's Center provides intensive around-the-clock care for premature newborn babies and sick full-term babies. Each year Sparrow's RNICU cares for nearly 600 acutely ill infants from throughout mid-Michigan.
