Pregnant woman with breast cancer turns to UM Health-Sparrow

At just 31 years old, Dylan Wade of Mason discovered a lump in one of her breasts. That same week, she also learned that she was 12 weeks pregnant.

Fearing the worst, Wade turned to the highly skilled cancer team at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow, along with leading-edge medicine, to save both her and her baby's lives.

University of Michigan Health-Sparrow’s highly skilled team of breast cancer experts is dedicated to providing leading-edge screenings and precision medicine close to home.

That is why we’re looking forward to a multi-million-dollar expansion of our comprehensive Breast Center at UM Health-Sparrow. The new space will offer mammograms and other screenings, diagnostic evaluations, ultrasound and biopsy services, all in one space.
