Physicians Health Plan (PHP) unveiled a new brand identity today that emphasizes its relationship with Sparrow. A new logo - visible on signage, ads, and other materials - demonstrates PHP's ongoing commitment to the One Sparrow ideal and a joint commitment to meeting the needs of our customers.
The interlocking rings in PHP's new look represent relationships - between community and healthcare, quality and member experience, PHP heritage and vision, members and their health plan, and PHP and their network of providers. It further reflects the importance of PHP's relationship with Sparrow and our shared goal to improve the health of the people in our communities by providing quality, compassionate care to members.
"PHP, a Sparrow subsidiary since 1982, decided that as we prepare for a future related to accountable care and healthcare reform it was important to visually reflect our relationship with Sparrow," said Scott Wilkerson, Physicians Health Plan President and CEO. "Our hard work and dedication is what has allowed us to achieve so many successes - that will not change. PHP will still offer the same great service and provider network we always have."
"Through our work with Sparrow, we can provide better care management and enhanced access to healthcare services," said PHP Board Chair MaryLee Davis, Ph.D. "This makes it easier to deliver the award-winning customer service our members expect and provide the best possible care."
PHP and Sparrow Caregivers gathered today to celebrate the unveiling of new signage; however, to be conscious of our resources, the new identity will be phased in over six months as current materials are replaced.
