It was a winter wonderland for about 200 young Patients and family members during an annual celebration hosted by the Sparrow Pediatric Rehabilitation Department.
Each special guest enjoyed dinner from Hungry Howie’s and Bake and Cakes, created a craft, and sat on Santa’s Lap. Children enjoyed magic tricks as they waited in line for Santa and were presented with a medal from Medals for Mettle for their hard work throughout the year. The Grand Ledge High School softball program joined in by greeting the children, assisted with crafts, and helping them pick their perfect present from Santa’s workshop. Thank you to all of our community sponsors who make this event a success: Hungry Howie’s; Bake and Cakes; Coca-Cola; R.J. Scheffel Memorial Toy Project; and Grand Ledge High School softball.
