CARSON CITY, MI – Sparrow Carson Hospital has recognized a Surgical Services nurse cited by numerous patients for the compassionate care she provides.
Lynnette Kane, RN, was nominated by nine patients for her quality of care, compassion, and the highly effective communication she provides surgical patients. One of the nominations noted, “Lynnette definitely knows her job and how to treat patients. She was so kind and quick to get anything I needed. I didn’t have to ask her many questions, as she went over everything so thoroughly with me.”
Another patient noted, “Lynnette was very thorough about everything. Before surgery she went over every little detail. She makes you feel very safe and less nervous about what’s going on. I have never met a nurse more thorough than her. She was wonderful!”
Kane has provided exceptional care at Sparrow Carson since 1994. She’s received nominations for Nurse of the Year, is a leader among her peers, and will go above and behind for every patient she encounters to make sure they have the best care.
“Lynnette is an amazing and caring nurse. Her dedication to Sparrow Carson Hospital and the community we serve is top notch” said Jill Bartolo, RN, Sparrow Carson’s Manager of Surgical Services.
Lynnette Kane, RN (centered) is honored as Sparrow Carson’s most recent DAISY Award recipient. Among those attending the ceremony were (from left to right) Monte Malek, Sparrow Carson Nursing and Patient Care Services Director; Jill Bartolo, RN, Sparrow Carson’s Manager of Surgical Services; and Sparrow Carson Hospital President Mark Brisboe.
