Russ Zalkin, an experienced trainer with expertise in general fitness, cycling and other specialties, has joined the Michigan Athletic Club as personal training & fitness manager.
Zalkin will be managing the personal training department at the MAC. He brings with him, Zip Training, a high intensity training method that he and other trainers developed to produce quality results in less time.
Zalkin most recently worked at a hospital-based health club in Chicago and owned private training studios in Indianapolis, Ind. He was recognized as a top trainer in Indianapolis for 10 years and served as a fitness expert and advisor for the Indianapolis Star Health and Fitness section and the Indianapolis Monthly.

Zalkin also has expertise in injury recovery, post-cancer recovery and nutrition. He currently holds certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (A.C.S.M.) and The American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.).
