Ryan Patterson, an experienced fitness and weight-loss training coach, has joined the Sparrow Michigan Athletic Club as a personal trainer.
Patterson has developed multiple weight-loss and wellness programs and specializes in weight-loss techniques, working with thousands of clients.
He is a nationally certified personal trainer and has spent many hours working with senior citizens and teens. Patterson also specializes in circuit training and anaerobic training methods.
"I always tell my clients that they have to control their effort and do the work for themselves," he said.
Starting in September, he will help kick off the MAC and Sparrow Health System Weight Loss Challenge, a 12-week weight loss program.
Patterson, who has been in the fitness industry since 2003, holds a master's degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University and a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University with concentrations in health, physical education, and recreation.
