The Sparrow Hospital Guild presents the Glow of Giving – 2015 Annual Charity Ball on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the University Club of Michigan State University.
Join us for a beautiful evening of food and friendship as we dance the night away to the music of Persuasion, one of Detroit's most sought-after bands, and make wonderful memories while supporting projects for children and seniors at Sparrow Hospital.
The Sparrow Hospital Guild is celebrating 91 years of commitment to health care in the mid-Michigan region through its support of Sparrow. This volunteer group, a part of the Women’s Hospital Association, continues the heritage of 50 women who first gathered to help the newly established clinic in 1924 by sewing dressings and raising money to pay the hospital fee of $5 per tonsillectomy. Today’s Sparrow Guild of dedicated women continues to raise and disburse funds for special projects throughout Sparrow.
