A ribbon cutting ceremony officially welcomed HEAT blow dry and beauty boutique to the Sparrow Michigan Athletic Club (MAC).
Co-owner and stylist Dan Buccilli talks with a customer at the opening.
The salon, the brainchild of co-owners stylist Dan Buccilli and Molly Chan, is located on the lower level of the MAC and offers a full menu of beauty services from blowouts and haircuts to make-up applications and hand treatments.
“We’re really happy to be able to add this service for our members and the community. At the MAC our goal is to improve the health of the people in our region and that includes making them feel better about themselves – whether it’s through working out and getting fit, or getting styled and looking great,” said Nicole Brillantes, Membership Services Manager, Sparrow Michigan Athletic Club.
“Whether it’s with members coming directly to the salon after a workout with wet hair ready for styling, or non-members booking appointments for a special treatment, our chairs have been full and the buzz has been tremendous,” says Buccilli.
HEAT opened its doors on Aug. 4 with 5 percent of all sales the first week going to Ele's Place, a non-profit, community based organization dedicated to creating awareness of and support for grieving children and their families.
