Sparrow is co-sponsoring the First Annual Lonnie D. Johnson Health Awareness Conference on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The educational event will focus on prostate cancer and feature presentations from Sparrow Cancer Center Medical Director James Herman, M.D. and author Andrea King Collier.
The conference is free and will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Community Church United Church of Christ, 1007 Kimberly Drive. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served, followed by the presentation of the annual Lonnie D. Johnson Awards.
