How would you summarize your new position?
My role as a chief medical officer to ensure that UMH-Sparrow delivers the full range of efficient, high quality care to improve the health of the community.

What are your top three goals for the region or the hospital?

  • Serve the needs of the community as a top-tier tertiary hospital with efficient, high quality care.
  • Enhance patient experience through our health system.
  • Develop plans to support caregiver wellness.

What is one thing you've learned about Sparrow and/or University of Michigan Health West that surprised you?
The sincere, boundless dedication to the health of the community.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Working with the teams at UMH-Sparrow to create and expand clinical programs for our hospital to become a state and national leader in health care.

Where is your favorite place in Michigan to vacation?
Traverse City.

What book or movie did you last read or watch?
