September is recognized across the U.S. as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
The Mason Boys Varsity Soccer Team will kick off their 2nd Annual Compete for a Cause Soccer game against Eaton Rapids on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Mason Bulldog stadium.
100 percent of the proceeds raised at the game will be donated to the Sparrow Children's Center to benefit children undergoing cancer treatment.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association recently featured the Mason team and how this group of individuals whose lives have been touched by a cancer diagnosis came together to put this event together. Read more about these inspiring kids, their coaches, and supporters.
Come on out for a great game, make a donation, or bid on a silent auction item and help make a difference in the lives of children right here in the Lansing area.
