LANSING, Mich. – University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Eaton and UM Health-Sparrow Charlotte Oncology are excited to announce the addition of Nidhi Mishra, M.D., to the team.
Mishra, a board-certified hematologist/medical oncologist, graduated medical school from Vinayaka Mission's Medical College and Hospital in India. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in New York. Her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology was at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Mishra joins Daniela Weiss, D.O., at UM Health-Sparrow Charlotte Oncology, a satellite location of the UM Health-Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center in Lansing, to provide leading-edge cancer care close to home for patients in Charlotte and beyond. Both providers are accepting new patients.
“I am excited to serve the Charlotte community, offering my expertise and working closely with my patients to achieve the best outcomes possible," Mishra said.
UM Health-Sparrow Eaton recently broke ground on a new oncology and infusion center that will expand access to leading-edge cancer care close to home. In 2025, this new center will offer a centralized location for current oncology services, chemotherapy and general non-oncology infusions.
