CARSON CITY, MI – Sparrow Carson Hospital is proud to recognize Maintenance Technician Ryan Parshall as our Caregiver of the Quarter for providing excellent support to his colleagues and his willingness to respond to the needs of patients and caregivers.
Parshall was nominated for the honor by multiple nursing leaders. One nomination noted how Parshall spent hours working on the roof during the hottest part of the summer to alleviate an air conditioning issue. He is always willing to pick up extra hours to ensure our facility is running smoothly and that the needs of our caregivers and patients are met.
When presenting the award, Chief Nursing Officer Monte Malek thanked Parshall for always representing the Sparrow ICARE Values, which include compassion, respect, and excellence. He also noted “Ryan responds to calls and questions at all hours of the day, always with a kind, positive tone willing to do anything he can to help. Since joining our team in March of 2022, he has been a hard worker right from the start, and his dedication does not go unnoticed by the entire leadership team”.
