CARSON CITY, MI – Sparrow Carson Hospital is celebrating its national recognition for a top score in patient satisfaction, fueled by its leading-edge medicine and highly skilled physicians.
The Sparrow Carson Emergency Department received a five-star award from Professional Research Consultants, Inc. in recognition of scores in the top 10 percent nationally for “Overall Quality of Care.” The PRC Excellence in Healthcare Awards are presented to organizations and individuals who have achieved top standards in patient satisfaction scores in the previous year, based on patient surveys.
The award certification commended the Sparrow Carson team’s “commitment to excellence that makes Sparrow Carson’s Emergency Department a wonderful place to work, a wonderful place to practice medicine, and a wonderful place for our patients to be treated.”
The Sparrow Carson Emergency Department boasts a wait time of less than 10 minutes for patients to see a doctor, and full access to 24-hour testing, such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and more.
“This is a well-deserved award for a wonderful team,” said Sparrow Carson President Mark Brisboe. “Our throughput times (getting care to patients) are exceptional, our physicians are well-trained and our support staff is well seasoned and very pleasant. They have a passion for caring for this community … their own family and friends.”
