As a Health Unit Coordinator at Sparrow Specialty Hospital, Canithra Arnold knows the challenges patients face each day. But just two days before Thanksgiving in 2019, she became a patient herself, diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
"I had just turned 40. I hadn’t even set up a mammogram yet."
During the toughest time of her life, Canithra turned to her fellow highly skilled caregivers and the leading-edge medicine at the Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center. As a team, they were able to beat Canithra’s cancer and she now calls herself a survivor.
