A very generous donation from the Sparrow Service Auxiliary has funded a multi-purpose meeting space in a brand new Surgical/Medical unit housed on the 7thFloor of the Sparrow Tower.
The 30-bed unit adds Patient space to the hospital and features all private rooms. It is scheduled to open on Tuesday, Jan. 20.A portion of proceeds - $100,000 - from the Sparrow Gift Shop was donated to create the conference room/classroom. A plaque outside the door proclaims it was generously supported by Sparrow Gift Shop Service Auxiliary. The room was dedicated Thursday, Jan. 15.
“This is just one more way to acknowledge you and the difference you have made. This space will be used every day.”
